The quick breakfast ❤

Hiya!
So this post is slightly different... And maybe I'm the only person who will even eat this but I'm letting you know about it just in case. Recently, I have had a couple of late morning where I have needed to rush around. For these mornings, I have invented a really quick and healthy breakfast using simple ingredients.
How to make- Jessie's Quickest Breakfast
Ingredients:
Two handfuls of oats
4 spoonfuls of yoghurt ( I chose two of blueberry and two of plain)
Fruit of your choice
Sugar (optional)
A splash of milk
Any extra things to add, for example, almonds, honey, granola, chocolate chips.
 •
Step one-
Put the yoghurt in a bowl and add a splash of milk.
Step two-
Add the oats and stir together. At this point, it won't look incredibly appetizing. This doesn't really improve as you go along but it still tastes good!
Step three-
Add in the fruit of your choice, I went for mango because I wanted to mix things up a little but usually I would put in raspberries or strawberries with almonds. At this point, I also added some extra yoghurt to thin it out.
Step four-
Eat it really fast! Or slow if you aren't in a hurry!!! Add a drink of your choice. For example, tea, juice, water, chai, coffee, smoothie.I ate mine slowly with a little outdoor table set up. I wasn't in a rush... Obviously.
Why this recipe is good:
1. It tastes healthy
2. It is healthy
3. Porridge oats are good for sustaining your energy until you next eat.
4. It is quick to make and eat but still fills you up!

Always remember to eat breakfast as it is one of the most important meals. Breakfast is not my favourite meal of the day but it prevents you from feeling exhausted and actually makes you perform better. So eat breakfast! Een if it just an apple.
Fact of the day:
Apples are minus calories. The calories burnt by eating them is more than the calories it contains. So it actually minuses calories by eating apples.
Love,

Courage❤

So today, I'm talking about courage. Courage is such a tricky thing. Here is what google defines it as.
Is this how you would define courage? This is what I say- courage is being able to do something even though it scares you, that is going to make things chane for the better. Courage isn't admitting you didn't do your homework or stealing a pencil, courage is more of an emotion. When you know it's going to be hard or you want to give up or you are scared to be yourself or stand up or confront someone or change something but you keep on fighting. There are people that have incredibly hard times and they keep on fighting, they have strength inside themselves to just keep on going, no matter what is going on, who hates them, how different they are or what they have been through. Courage is when you don't give up. You want something better. I think courage is such an amazing thing to have and the people that are courageous are my role models and inspirations, no matter who they are. The next picture, some of you might dislike but I know this man is an inspiration to so many people and this is a quote that is so perfect from him.
Be yourself and if people don't love you for who you are, find people who do. The point of this post is to let you know that on the 16th July 2014, draw the copyright symbol on your wrist to show respect for the people that need courage. This means mental illnesses, diseases, terminal illnesses, bullying, personal problems or just plain uncertainty or needing support. If you have problems in your life, have overcome problems, want to overcome problems, respect those with problems, or think courage is important, spread the word, and draw the copyright symbol on your wrist on the 16th July 2014. Thankyou so much monsters, help spread the word #copyrightcouragejuly.

Nest essentials ❤

Hiya!
So, as I appear to not have anything to do in my spare time except Internet, I have been working hard on how to make the perfect nest/ comfy area/ hiding from the world spot, and I thought I could tell you so you can make nests. Also, a quick tip, if someone says nesting isn't productive, just imagine you are a cocooning butterfly and tomorrow you will be all fresh. Maybe...For those who want a beauty post ( and there is nobody who even reads this so um...) that will hopefully be next week as I am doing reviews. Woop woop! Lets get into the nesting business!
The essentials:
1. A duvet
Seriously, a duvet is the main part. You couldn't even begin to cocoon without a duvet. Thick is best, blankets are fine, warmth is essential.
2. Hoody and comfy clothes
To be comfortable, wear pyjamas or leggings and a hoody/ sweatshirt.
3. Pillow
For head resting obviously!
4. Hot water bottle
For cold days only or you will get sweaty and stuffy and incredibly unlike a butterfly.
5. Glass of water: refreshment
For the un-butterfly like times when you need refreshing. A bottle would be best so you don't accidentally tip it over while adjusting where you sit.
6. Candel/ perfume/ something that smells nice
Optional for an ultra relaxed experience
7. Reading materials
For readers, my favorites are company magazine or rookie yearbook but pick whatever you like best.
8. Snacks for the snackish
Doesn't need explaining!
9. Lastly, a teddy or comfort blanket
Just for extra cosy and comfy.

So I hope these were either useful or entertaining! I am also going to be posting a monthly playlist that suits that month so that will be something to look out for! You obviously don't have to go to all this effort just for a good nest but this is the IDEAL PERFECT AMAZING nest. So. Loves and loves,

Big houses and random tunes ♥

Hiya!
So in the last half an hour, I had two random ideas I though I could share with you. So here we go!
1. Random songs
I was brushing my teeth and doing all the bathroom-ness you do before bed and then, out of nowhere, I realized I was singing the strangest, most random little jingle. It went 'Black bones, black bones, piano tatum'. ? . What even is this!? I got really confused, I didn't even notice I was singing it and I had never heard the words or the use before! Is this just me? Comment below if you have ever foun yourself doing something and you have no idea when you started!!!
2. Big house
So a friend of mine owns this house:
This is the biggest house I have ever seen. This is steepe park house ( google it for more images of inside) and it is the most beautiful house I have ber come across. I'm visiting it tomorrow, I may take a few pics to post but maybe not... When she bought it, it was derelict and covered in graffiti. We couldn't go upstairs, there was no door or windows, the front could hardly be seen. This photo is getting old as she has done so amazingly at getting this place fixed up. There are no more broken windows or peeling paints, stairs fully function and the floors are no longer graffiti stained. The house is a Victorian manor in the middle of nowhere, with acres of ground, a greenhouse, stables and other hidden treasures including a beware of the dog original mosaic! A walk round the forest, and we came across stepping stones, waterfalls, an island in the middle of a lake, swinging branches and curling steps. This is truly magnificent and now I sound like a television programme where they help people buy houses. Hm. Thy have bought a row boat and we are rowing out to the island for a barbecue. I'm excited although the drive is long! They plan to sell this amazing house the second it is finished and it jut makes me so sad. There is everything you expect, window seats, auditorium, basement, library, 9 bedrooms. Hopefully we will do a weekend trip there before its gone but it makes me sad that it has to go!
So that's the end of my random post, I might have to take it down for privacy reasons ( hope not) so read it now! Hehe.  Don't make me take it down!!!!! See you soon!

The Blue Tongue ❤

Hiya!
Firstly, sorry I haven't posted in a LONG time. My laptop broke and I only just got my account details so I could use it on my iPod. Aside from all excuses, I'm sorry and I will try my best to make up for it by posting actual interesting content and hopefully lots of it. Hopefully. So there will be new things, not all beauty. I have an actual list and I'm really excited! So I'm going to start off this 'new style' with a bit of a random one: The Blue Tongue. This is things that give you a lasting blue tongue. I'm not a professional and I have hardly done an 'experiment' but I have three things for two different taste buds.
1. Blue raspberry ice pole
These make your tongue go blue for around 1hour and 1/2 but it won't do much at all if you just chew it up. You have to keep it in your mouth/ suck it until its gone because then the colour comes off onto your tongue and that's good. 🌀 They are also very yummy and there are dupes everywhere!

2. Strong blue sweets
Blue sweets that taste strong will usually give a lot of colour if you suck them but make sure they are cheap-ish because the , if they don't work, you can try different ones! 🌀
3. Paint ball bubblegum
Personally, I don't like these much and I'm not sure of their availability but these are really good for making a lasting blue colour! They are like gob stoppers so they could be good too but again, you have to suck them because I didn't but my friend did and mine lasted for 1/2 an hour and her's lasted alot longer!
I hope you enjoyed this random post and I will be doing a few more like this and others including recipes, campaigns, photos, lists, helping, music and some more beauty and pamper style things because that was the original intention for this blog so I might as well cover a bigger audience and add to the list of things to do! See you soon!

My Hair Care Products ♥

Hiya Chums and Chummettes,
Today, I'm going to talk about my favourite hair care products that I use on a day to day basis. Usually, I wash my hair every other day but I put at least one product on every day! My hair is mid-length and blonde. That's all my hair info done, let's get started with the products!

1. Shampoo
For shampoo I used to use the Aussie Ausomme volume shampoo but recently I switched to V05 'nourish my shine' and have been loving it so much! It makes my hair feel so smooth for days and it's so great! My favourite so far.

2. Conditioner
My conditioner is still the Aussome volume conditioner. I used this with the shampoo but the shampoo was very drying so I swapped whereas this conditioner is perfect for silky smooth hair, also adding volume!

3. Hair Serum
Lots of people don't use hair serum but I have loved this one ever since I first took off the cap and smelt it's amazing smell. I couldn't place the smell but utterly loved it so sat on the side of the bath for 5 minutes until I worked out it was a popcorn smell! This is one of my favourite smell and reminds me of Popcorn lip scrub by Lush which I highly recommend. I would use this when my hair is still semi-wet so it dries with the hair. This serum does exactly as it says which is smoothing. It makes your hair feel so smooth and flowing and amazing. I love it.

4. Smoothing spray
Yes more smoothing and shining products! I think it must be a phase… This is the V05 smoothly does it tame and shine spray. I wouldn't put this straight onto my hair but use it the morning after a shower sprayed onto a hairbrush. This is especially good for just-curled or done hair as it is great for keeping hair brushed and smooth, looking great all day! Another recent purchase I've been loving.

5. Last but not least- no definatley not least as I have done a whole post specifically on this product- is the Bedhead Queen for a Day thickening spray. For more info go check out my post, the URL is below. All I can say is the smell is magically overwhelmingly amazing and the product is no less impressing.

So that's all I've got for now, I noticed a strong theme of Bedhead and V05 products here…. oops. If you google these products they should all come up available for purchase. Thanks for reading and I'll hopefully be back next saturday!

Change of timetable

Hiya Chums and Chummettes!
As you know, I love blogging. I try my hardest to post every Friday but this is proving a little hard for me! So, as I got thoroughly stuck on this weeks post, and some unfollows on bloglovin, I am going to change my upload day to Saturday. This means I have all of Friday and then I can post on Saturday morning if possible! Any fellow bloggers may know that to upload every week is a task and it is so easy to run out of time and ideas so if I miss out a week then please comment ideas and things you would like to see in posts! I'm going to stop with my ramble now! I'll be uploading Febuary Favourites next weekend so please follow on bloglovin to be updated on when I post! Thanks,
Love,

Ask Jessbug!

Hiya Chums and Chummettes,
So I got you guys on instagram and tumblr to ask me some questions and here they are answered! I hope you enjoy :)

1. What is your ideal breakfast?
Strawberry and nutella pancakes with a icey glass of orange and lime juice. Yum!
2. What is your favourite colour?
I know it's boring and depressing and all that but I like grey! I like it in clothes and rooms and everything except skies.
3. What is your favourite makeup/hair/nails/beauty overall product atm?
At the moment I am loving the Bed Head Queen for a Day Thickening Spray! Also, I have a coral lipgloss that goes with my (not needed but highly used) sunglasses which I wear a lot. My blog post about the thickening spray is linked down below if you want to go check it out!
4. Can you complete a rubix cube?
Um, I can do one side but I guess that's not really completing it, no!
5. What's the last thing you took a picture of?
I last took a picture of my healthy skin items for my blog post (linked below)!
6. Have you ever had a surprise party thrown for you? If not then what would your ideal surprise party be?
No I have never had a surprise party thrown for me but I desperately want one! I would love it to be on the beach on a Friday. I want to really not be expecting it and I want someone to blindfold me and drive me there and help me walk over so it would be a real surprise!!! I would want all my friends there and family friends and everyone to go swimming and there be a barbecue  and flower decorations and rose lemonade and an amazing yummy cake. Hint hint anyone I know reading!!!!
7. What is your most important piece of furniture in your house?
I love my bed because I use it for sleeping but I also like the bath because it is grey and stylish and very relaxing to sit in.
8. Do you bite your nails?
No I don't until they get a nice length and look decent for once then I bite them all off and have to start again :(.
9. If you were a captain of a ship, what would the ship be called?
If I could I would call it 'guinea-pig bear'  but that isn't a ship name so I would call it 'Posideon's Grin' because in all the paintings of Posideon he always looks a bit angry…
10. What is your favourite game to play in a woods?
In a woods I love building dens out of big sticks because its so satisfying when it finally stays up and you can crawl inside but if there is a flowing stream and bridge then I play pooh sticks from the book Whinnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne. You go to one side of the bridge and all drop a stick then run to the other side of the bridge to see who's comes out first! In the book it turns out that someone's stick was their donkey friend so they have to rescue him… oops! There's a message for you, make sure that if you are throwing sticks in a river, you don't accidentally throw a donkey.

That's the end! I hoped you enjoyed this more chatty style post and I will see you next Friday with something else (I don't know what yet :/) .

Healthy Skin!

Hiya Chums and Chummettes,
At the moment I am really trying to make my skin look healthy and glowy as winter really doesn't help my complexion *weep weep*. I recently discovered a Boots store at the end of my road which I honestly didn't know about before! For all Chums and Chummettes in other countries, Boots is the main drugstore here in England. I spent yesterday running around it then returned home, my hand covered in swatches and at least 10 different types of makeup remover and moisturiser. It was only today where I tested my products and started my regime for better skin. I hope this will lead to many future blog posts! I decided that I would tell you about the products I am using and how I'm going to try to look healthy and happy for Spring and Summer time!

1. Cleanser
Firstly, I bought a cleanser. This was recommended from a friend as being good for those with sensitive skin types (i.e. me) so I thought I would give it a go. It's the Purifying Cleansing lotion by Simple. It says it is 'kind to skin' and contains multi-vitamins. It is hydrating for the face and I find it tightens the face but not in a bad way. I use it at night to remove my makeup while cleaning my face. It also smells clean. Bonus!

2. Cleansing liquid
While my cleanser is for removing makeup and hydrating skin, the Antiac Multi Action Formula I use before putting makeup on in the morning and after taking it off at night.

3. Exfoliating
A lot of people don't like exfoliating their face but I found special Face Exfoliating Gloves. These are extra gentle and still clear out your pores of dead skin and dirt *cring-wince-ew face*. I'm going to use these once a day at the most as too much scrubbing can damage your skin and cause redness, not good especially on the face!

4. Barley Grass
Barley Grass Powder is so good for you it's insane! It makes your skin glow and your eyes shine and you feel so much healthy and smiley. It is a powder that is green though making it rather un-appetising! That' why I like to put this yucky stuff in a big 1.5-2L bottle of water so you really just can't taste it. This leads me on to my next point…

The Barley grass is shipped online from New Zealand
5.Drinking lots of water!
I'm going to try and drink a lot more water! My friend who is a skin care consultant said to drink a whole glass before breakfast. I'm going to try my best to drink at least 2L a day. This apparently is good for your insides and also good for your skin too! Also I'm eating better food. Well I'm trying...

6. Floradix
Floradix is a medicine health drink. You have 10ml twice a day if you are over 12 and it fills you up with vitamins and iron. You especially need iron if you are a woman and its that time of the month as you can lose it and also its just great for everyone to feel less tired more happy and stronger within themselves.

7. Powder Foundation
Last of all, to make my skin behave, i'm going to start wearing powder foundation *gasp*. This is a lot trickier and time consuming than a simple liquid foundation and the one I use is ALOT more expenssive but is the best one out there according to everyone. I will be using the bareMinerals Blemish Ready. This is meant to be a concealer but as I often have large outbreaks of acne on my face *:(*, I am just using this as a light foundation. Unfortunatley it doesn't have amazing coverage but I discovered in a desperate attempt to make it work properly, that if you mix it with moisturiser or cleanser then it works like a liquid foundation but still doing the same imperfection removing job. I know it's cheating but I do still sometimes use it in its powder form for those no makeup days if I'm popping round to the corner shop. It also comes with a good concealer brush that I use for my concealer but as I am using this product as a foundation then I use my Bobby Pin foundation brush from the JFK collection which is old but still ok.
The bareMinerals powder foundation with the Bobby Pin Brush

I'm very excited about this regime, and i'm pretty sure I will do a before and after post. I'm so excited for Spring and so this is part of my preparing! I just can't wait for sunny days… I don't know about you but where I live its rainy and windy and cold and meh weather! I'll see you on Friday with quite an exciting post :).

Bed Head Queen For A Day Thickening spray

Hiya Chums and Chummettes,
This is the Bed Head Queen for a day Thickening spray.

I got this recently as a gift and didn't use it very much to start off with as I didn't really understand it's potential. Last weekend, I got my hair cut and the hairdresser used this on my hair. I commented on the beautiful smell and was surprised that it came from the same product that was in my bathroom cabinet at the back. I got home and took out the thickening spray to put on my dressing table. Since then, I have used it every day!
What it is:
The Queen for a Day is a foam that you spray out of the bottle. It is really useful for styling your hair and helps your hair look and feel thicker.
What it smells like:
It smells of fresh flowers, fruit, summer and hair product. An amazing combination!
What I use it for:
I use it when I'm going for a messy look in my hair, mostly when my hair is plain and down just to liven it up a bit. I also use it over hair styles to plump them up. I used it today as I had a friend coming over and I woke up late! I had a shower, out on black leggings and a grey sweatshirt, then only got time for concealer, mascara and lip balm before the doorbell went and I opened the door whilst spraying this my hair. Surprisingly indeed, she complimented my 'natural minimal' makeup and my thick fluffy hair, also noting the flowery aroma near the door where I had sprayed it. GRWM over.
Rating 9/10
How it could improve: It makes your hair quite wet when first put in so must be held far away and also sometimes is a little drizzly. Needs a lot of massaging in, other than that, I highly recommend this product!

This is my first review on my blog, I hope you enjoyed it! I apologise for not publishing it on Friday!!! This product is amazing but this post is not sponsored.

Lipsticks!

Hiya Chums and Chummettes!
So I love lipstick. It keeps me smiling! Here are my favourites of the moment. These are my most frequently worn and I have snuck in a lipgloss' too :) Hope you enjoy!

Right to Left: Endless Ruby, Red Passion, Morocco Pink, Lady Danger, Medieval, Hazard, No.5

1. Morocco Pink by Scent and Spice
This colour is limited edition so won't be available  from not a well known company AT ALL!!!  I am going to write about it anyway because I really like it and there are probably dupes of it everywhere. This smells good which is rare in a lipstick and also, changes colour to suit you!!! It changes to go well with your skin tone and lips. Mine personally turns out a bright pinky colour which I really like, as it started out a very orange orange! It also doubles up as a lip balm which is always a bonus :p
2.Hazard by Topshop
This is my first purchase from the Topshop makeup brand and I must say I'm impressed! This is a bright red that looks deep but really turns out more vibrant red than that! I really love this product, especially as the packaging is lovely!
3.Lady Danger by M.A.C
This is a VERY bright orangey lipstick that I really love in the summery months but I also wear it in the  Winter too. This means its my most well used lipstick in my collection! It has lasted me ages already and looks like it has another 6 months wear in it yet!
4.Medieval by Lipstick Queen
This is a pink with red undertones and is very glossy. It isn't too pigmented so perfect for dress down occasions and around the house if you are wearing makeup at all! Its very stylish and really useful!
5. Lipgloss 5 by Miss Sporty
This is my lipgloss that I like at the moment! It was cheap and a really quick drugstore buy when out as I had forgotten lipgloss and was staying overnight at a friends house and going out the following morning to a meeting. It has proven useful as a handbag item but I don't wear it on a day to day basis.
6. Endless Ruby by Maybelline (Super Stay Collection)
This is a 10hour tint gloss. It is very pigmented and deep and dark and goes well with navy blue. This is my discovering so far! This stays on for as long as you need it to and is also a nice colour!
7. Red Passion by Maybelline (Super Stay Collection)
This is a colour type from the super stay collection and it is a 24 hour bold red red. I like that, as it is drying for the lips, one end also has a balm on that is really useful to use with the product. When I swatted this, it didn't come off for a while when wiped, proving that this really works!!!
Right to Left: No.5, Medieval, Red Passion, Lady Danger, Endless Ruby, Morocco Pink, Hazard
I hope you enjoyed my first post with pictures! It was a bit of a fiddle but I'm sure I'll get used to it :)
